These are the rules of SETSGIG. They apply whenever you use the app, with or without an account. Read section 3 carefully: it is the one that raises the most questions and the one that matters most to you.
SETSGIG is operated independently and is in its early stage, provided at setsgig.com. The identifying details of whoever operates the service will be published here as soon as the operation is formalised, and the change will be notified under item 11.

It is a tool for worship teams, bands, duos and solo musicians to organise repertoire, set lists and who plays what, and to read it on stage, with the chart in each singer's key, a metronome, a tuner and everything the team typed in.
It runs in the browser, installs on a phone and opens without internet. Anyone who receives a set list link needs to install nothing and create no account.
SETSGIG supplies no lyrics, no chord charts, no tablature and no sheet music for any song. The app ships empty of musical content. Everything you see in it was typed in by your team.
What the app offers is shortcuts that open official, licensed sites: Cifra Club, Letras, LaCuerda, Ultimate Guitar, PraiseCharts, MuseScore, CCLI SongSelect, YouTube, Spotify and others. Those shortcuts are links: you leave SETSGIG and enter their site, under their rules.
By typing or pasting content into SETSGIG, you state that you have the right to use it: because the work is yours, because it is in the public domain, because your church or band holds the necessary licence (CCLI, PRS, ASCAP, BMI or the equivalent in your country), or because the law allows it in that case.
The same applies to the audio files you add on the Sound screen. They stay on your device only: they do not go to the cloud, we do not share them, and they do not enter the set list link. Even so, put there only what you have the right to use: a recording of a song belongs to its label, and playing it in public may require a licence in your country.
Responsibility for that content lies with whoever entered it. If we receive a substantiated copyright complaint, we may remove the content identified and notify whoever entered it.
The content stays yours. We claim no ownership over what you create, and we use it only to operate the service for you, storing it, syncing it across your devices and showing it to whoever you send the link to.
An account is created with an email address and a password you choose. If you forget it, we send a recovery link to that address, so whoever has access to your inbox can recover your account. Look after both.
When you create the password, the app checks whether it has appeared in a known internet breach. That check is done without your password ever leaving your device.
You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us if you notice misuse.
Using the app without an account requires nothing at all. In that case the data stays only on your device and we have no way to recover it if you clear your browser.

The free plan has no end date. We may change what each plan offers, giving 30 days notice by email. If the change makes your paid plan worse, you may cancel and get the unused part back.
PRO is a subscription, monthly or yearly, charged by the payment platform shown at the time of purchase. The prices are the ones displayed there.
Breaking these rules may lead to suspension or closure of the account, with a proportional refund of what was paid and not used, except in cases of fraud.
We do what we can to keep the service up, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. There may be maintenance, a supplier failure or an internet problem.
That is exactly why SETSGIG works without internet: the app and your data live on the device. If the cloud goes down on Sunday morning, your phone still shows the set list.
The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages.
Where we are liable, that liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here removes the rights your country's consumer law gives you.
You may stop using the service whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted via the contact email. We may close accounts that breach these terms or that have had no access for more than 24 months on the free plan, always giving notice by email first.
If we change something significant, we give notice by email and inside the app 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new version.
While the service is in its early stage, no specific jurisdiction is chosen. The laws of the country where you live apply, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own domicile. When the operation is formalised, this item will be updated and the change notified under item 11.
